Do I need a Stripe account?

Location users

Location users can pay directly with their credit or debit card. So to book a location, you don’t need a Stripe account.

Location owners

As a location owner you can receive payments straight to your bank account, thanks to Stripe. In order to be able to receive money from location users, you need to add your bank account details. This is free, takes only a few seconds and enables payments for your listings immediately.

How to enable Stripe:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to “Settings” (from the top bar, under your profile picture)
  3. Go to the “Payments” tab
  4. Click on the button “Connect with Stripe”
  5. If you already have a Stripe account, click “Sign in with Stripe to connect”. Login and click “Connect with my Stripe account”.
  6. If you don’t have a Stripe account yet click “Sign Up”. Fill in your details (incl. your bank account so the payments can be transferred to you) and click “Authorize access to this account”.

That’s all! All your listings will now have Stripe enabled to receive payments.
